an almost criminal comedy

The tragic tale of two university-educated women, who, due to financial difficulties, turn to prostitution. In the play, their main client suddenly dies during sex and their plans to dispose of the corpse ensue. The play accentuates the fate of people in a deep province, highlighting the problems faced by ordinary lone women who are not rare in such environments and who have no choice but to rely on themselves. It is a domestic tragedy that borders with criminal elements, in an environment that could be described as the reality of post-Soviet society in Eastern Europe. The play is funny and horrifying in equal measure.
